SUMMARY:

Over time, some experiences can be identified, which led to changes in school curricula to introduce health-related topics. It was from 2007 onwards that school health practices gained a new focus when they began to be carried out by the School Health Program, created jointly by the Ministries of Health and Education, seeking to contribute to the comprehensive training of public school students, through previously agreed actions. With the creation of the SUS in the 1990s, many public policies were developed and put into practice. Although the biomedical model is still very present today, policies, actions and services are based mainly on the doctrinal principles of the SUS, which are: universality, equity and integrality, which refers to policies more focused on the needs of individuals depending on the situation in question. that meet, expanding understanding of the health-disease process. General objective: To analyze the intersectoral nature of the actions that make up the School Health Program in the years 2021, 2022 and 2023 in Girau do Ponciano -AL. Method: This is a Document Analysis research through Content Analysis, with a qualitative and descriptive-exploratory approach. Data collection took place through research carried out on the websites of the Ministries of Health and Education and local government bodies, in which informative texts about the PSE were sought, being cataloged in Block 1-Documents with informative texts and later in the categories : A) Documents prepared by federal entities; B) Municipal documents from the health sector and C) Municipal documents from the education sector. In Block 2 - Report documents, the reports found through the SISAB system were cataloged. The results and discussion of the data will be presented in the format of two articles, the first entitled: Intersectorality in the School Health Program: inference of intersectorality in the guiding documents in the work process for implementing the PSE; and the second entitled: Interposition of intersectorality in the actions of the School Health Program in Girau do Ponciano- AL. Based on the study, it is clear that intersectorality is still a strategy that faces many challenges in the work process of professionals from the two sectors involved (Health and Education) as well as in the results of PSE actions.
