SUMMARY:

Permanent Health Education (PHE) is an important strategy of the Unified Health System (SUS) in order to qualify health care and work processes and is based on meaningful learning and the possibility of giving new meaning to professional practices. By intending to meet the precepts of the Unified Health System (SUS), the legal contributions that address the confrontation of sexual violence, as well as the strengthening of services provided to victims of the crime evidenced, the study aimed to analyze the need for PHE processes in the care of victims of sexual violence in the Care Network for Victims of Sexual Violence (RAVVS) in Alagoas (RAVVS) in Alagoas, management and one of its reference services in health care. This is a descriptive, exploratory research with a quali-quantitative approach, supported by bibliographic research related to the theme of the study. The procedures for collecting and producing the research information followed two work axes, and in the first axis the data collection adopted took place by means of two questionnaires applied online, one for the care professionals and the other for the RAVVS management. In the second axis three workshops were promoted, as a participative strategy of scientific data production, with the participation of the two research groups. The results and discussion of the data will be exposed in the format of two articles, the first entitled "Continuing Education in Health: possibilities of effectiveness in a service of attention to victims of sexual violence", which will be submitted to the Bahian Journal of Public Health and the second article entitled "Continuing Education in Health: a necessary device for a service of attention to victims of sexual violence", which will be submitted to the Interface Journal - Communication, Health, Education.
