This research has the general objective of analyzing the inclusion of Anti-Racist Education in the curriculum of Pedagogy Courses in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) of the Public Network of the State of Alagoas. As a result, the following specific objectives emerge: identify the skills and competencies developed in the initial training process for anti-racist teaching practice; analyze how the subjects proposed by the Pedagogy Courses contribute to discussions and/or reflections on anti-racist education; identify the convergences and divergences of Pedagogy Courses on anti-racist issues in relation to legislation on the subject. It is a qualitative and delimited study in documentary research as it makes it possible to capture essential elements of HEIs, in particular, Pedagogy courses from the perspective of anti-racist education. To this end, 06 PPCs from Pedagogy courses at public HEIs in Alagoas will be analyzed. As a result, it is expected to obtain an in-depth understanding of the Pedagogical Course Projects (PPC) of Pedagogy in Alagoas regarding the promotion of anti-racist education in initial training.
