Participation of community health agents in medical graduation

This study is based on a concern that stems from the observational action directed towards health work and the integration of teaching, health services and the community, during the development of my work practice at the Professor Gilberto Macedo Teaching Assistant Unit of the Federal University of Alagoas ( UDA/UFAL) as preceptor of the second period students of the Campus A.C. Simons. I directed my interest to investigate the contribution of community health agents to the training process of UFAL medical students, in view of the proximity of these professionals to the community, their role as mediator between technical and popular knowledge through the practice of popular health education which, in turn, establishes a link between the community and the health services. The general objective of the research is to analyze the actions developed by community health agents in the training process of medical students. As specific objectives, identify the actions developed between the ACS and medical students and describe what the ACS understand about the training process of the medical course and what their contributions are in this process.
