Design and Implementation of a Digital Twin Framework for Industrial Processes in Industry 4.0
Digital Twin, Industry 4.0, Rigid Body, Virtual Environment, Manufacturing.
Digital twins are digital models of physical entities that enable interaction between physical and virtual environments. In the context of Industry 4.0, they play a key role in simulating, monitoring, and optimizing industrial processes in real time. However, challenges persist in developing scalable digital twins that integrate IoT data, real-time pro-
cessing, and machine learning, particularly in dynamic environments. This study focuses on designing and implementing a digital twin model for an industrial process, with an emphasis on rigid body dynamics and physics simulation. The goal is to advance digital twin applications in manufacturing, potentially supporting process improvement, resource optimization, and increased efficiency.
