AREA: Psicologia
SUMMARY:

Motherhood is a space and experience that seeks to welcome and satisfy the child's needs, such as affection, trust and security, in addition to enabling their development in the social environment through interactions (CRUZ, 2005). However, the birth of a child evokes responsibilities and changes, capable of implying transformations in family dynamics, emotions, marital and social relationships. These adaptations can be enhanced when meeting the diagnosis of disability. Therefore, chapter 1 covers the Introduction in order to portray the context of the study, objectives, justification and relevance of the research. Chapter 2 unfolds the historical-cultural context of gender inequality, aspects of motherhood and women's space in society, in addition to discussing the historical aspects of Autism Spectrum Disorder, public policies throughout Brazilian history and the crossings under the maternity. Chapter 3 corresponds to a Systematic Literature Review with the objective of analyzing the scenario of atypical motherhood in ASD through the modes of scientific investigation and its outcomes. Chapter 4 seeks to map the narratives about maternal overload and support networks in atypical ASD maternity in a highly engaged profile on the Instagram Social Network, to understand how maternal overload and support network are configured.
