SUMMARY:

Considering the hospital context of the relationship between pandemic and mental health, in which situations of death cause changes in the rituals of face-to-face identification of the bodies of family members, as they involve risks of contagion, it is necessary to use remote technologies for this communication. Thus, this research project focuses on the production of meanings of difficult news communication among health professionals directly involved in the Covid-19 pandemic at the Professor Alberto Antunes University Hospital, located in Maceió / AL. Professional practices involved in these processes will be investigated; issues of mental suffering involving professionals; and the affects / effects produced by health professionals in communicating difficult news in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic experience. I will carry out, at first, a literature review through database research, in the Virtual Health Library (VHL), with the following descriptors: Health professionals, Communication, News. Approaching the Social Constructionist movement, discursive practices and production of meanings, I intend to compose this work by recording the field diary and producing a workshop. The field diary is an important tool for the production of information on the subject and the object, in addition to working on the implications, positions and affects of the researcher in the field. In addition, a workshop will be produced with the health professionals involved in the Covid-19 Pandemic Difficult News Communication. They will be guided by Generating Themes to facilitate the dialogue, the records will be written on slips, the conversations recorded and videotaped, to facilitate their subsequent full transcription. For the organization and visibility of the dialogues in the Workshop, the production of Dialogic Maps will be used. The Maps help in the identification of the linguistic repertoires used in the dialogic interanimation, allowing the analysis of the production of meanings in the context.
