Suicide; Prevention of Suicidal Behavior; Social Networks; Social Influence.
The suicide, intentional act to cause end in own life, it is a multifactorial phenomenon, that involves predisposing factors and precipitating on biological sphere, social, psychological, ambiental and cultural. This is a question of national public health and global, with an average of 800,000 deaths from suicide on world every year. To better understand and prevent suicidal behavior, it is important to observe its epidemiological characteristics, as well as to know what has already been developed in the context of prevention. In this sense, virtual social networks can be a useful way in the dissemination of educational content and emotional support channels for suicide prevention. Thus, thinking about the interlocution between social networks and prevention of suicidal behavior, this work aims to investigate aspects of the prevention of this behavior through publications on social networks Facebook and Youtube, observing Brazilian prevention campaigns, a report of suicide attempt carried by a digital influencer and also, investigating the impact of these posts on users who access them. The data will be analyzed with the help of the Iramuteq software, through which they will be performed: word cloud, similitude analysis and descending hierarchical classification (CHD). Based on the results, it is expected to make considerations and dialogues on suicide prevention from the perspective of the institutions that elaborate preventive campaigns, of the subjects who experience this behavior (and exert broad social influence) and the people who access these contents.
