Autism. Body. Puberty. Psychoanalysis.
The autism, since its begenning as a nosological category in 1943, drives research in diverse areas. In psychoanalysis, the autism debates focus mainly on the differential diagnosis; the relationship with language, with the Other and with the body. This study explores the problem of the body in autism, relative to puberty, with emphasis on the constitution of the body and on the relationship with the Other. It considers puberty and the awakening to malaise, present in all subjects, therefore emerge the question if this awakening is also present in autism. Thus, it aims to analyze the implications of puberty in autism based on the theoretical of Lacanian psychoanalysis. More specifically, it seeks to delimit about autism: the relationship with the Other, the constitution of the body, and the deadlocks surrounding puberty. Therefore, will be realized a theoretical research in psychoanalysis, which will also use autistic autobiographies as a methodological resource to analyze the implications of puberty, because writing in autism serves to witness something of its subjective functioning and the deadlocks can be found. With the selected material will be used proper techniques of theoretical research, which consist of previous reading, selective, analytical and interpretive reading of texts.
