curriculum; degree in psychology; crace relations; governmentality.
The intention of this work is to analyze how ethnic-racial relations permeate the curriculum of the undergraduate course in Psychology at the Federal University of Alagoas, Maceió campus. I use the Foucault’s concept of government as a theoretical and methodological tool in the research to think about the curriculum. I bring as the general objective: to analyze how the students experience the absence and the presence of discussions about ethnic-racial relations in the curriculum of undergraduate course in Psychology at the Federal University of Alagoas. The specific objectives are: a) to analyze the presence of ethnic-racial relations in the pedagogical political proposal of the Psychology course at the Federal University of Alagoas; b) to identify practices of epistemic silencing and resistance in relation to white and Eurocentric hegemonic epistemologies. As methodologic strategy I will realize meetings with students to know their experience of this live curriculum and to talk about how the discussions about racial relations permeate their education.
