SUMMARY:

Domestic and family violence against women is an issue that affects women worldwide and in Brazil, being a violation of fundamental human rights. According to art. 5 of Law No. 11.340/2006, popularly known as the Maria da Penha Law, domestic and family violence against women is configured as any action or omission based on gender, which causes death, injuries, physical, sexual or psychological suffering and moral or property damage. As recommended in Law No. 11,340/2006 and Law No. 13,984/2020, assistance to men who are perpetrators of domestic and family violence against women can be carried out as one of the urgent protective measures, through the male perpetrator of domestic violence against women attendance to recovery and re-education programs and psychosocial monitoring, through individual assistance and/or support groups. Such assistance is a possibility to seek re-education and resignification about the act by the male perpetrator of violence, as a way to reduce the recurrence of domestic and family violence against women in Brazil. The general objective of this study is to map the information available on the websites of the State Courts of Justice in Brazil about the assistance to men who are perpetrators of domestic and family violence against women. And as specific objectives: describe and analyze the geographic and temporal location of the programs; compare the programs developed in each state; analyze how the documents systematize the assistance offered to men who are perpetrators of domestic and family violence against women in Brazil; and identify Psychology actions made available by the State Courts of Justice in the care of male perpetrators of violence. It is a documentary research, being used as documents 175 news posted on the websites of the State Courts of Justice in Brazil. To systematize the study, the stages of metasynthesis were used: exploration, refinement, description and analysis. The results show that most state Courts of Justice have been putting into practice the care to men who commit domestic violence through reflexive groups that are based on a multidisciplinary and multiprofessional work. The consultations seek to promote reflection and accountability of men who commit domestic and family violence against women through the idea of socio-education, bringing relevant aspects to the practice of resocialization, which makes it possible to reduce recidivism and implement aspects of the Maria da Penha Law. From the results found, the need for a greater and more systematic availability of information on the websites of the State Courts of Justice derives, as greater access to information can foster dialogue between professionals who work in the care of male perpetrators of violence and the population in general, as well as providing a greater awareness of the various demands that are met through the Maria da Penha Law, which later can have a beneficial impact on affective relationships within the family and extrapolate to the social sphere, in which everyone is inserted and can benefit.
