THE MULTIPROFESSIONAL VISIT IN A
MULTIPROFESSIONAL HEALTH RESIDENCE PROGRAM:
A DIALOGICAL READING

This dissertation has multiprofessional visits as a theme field. Visits emerge as a practice
in the health context, based on the logic of multiprofessional work and
multiprofessionality, which is based on the principles of Permanent Education in Health. It
aims to understand multiprofessional visits from the articulation of concepts linked to
Bakhtin's dialog and specific literature, with the aim of generating shifts in discussions
about health practices committed to the production of autonomous people who are co-
responsible for their lives. For this, it starts from the understanding of science as a human
practice, situated socially and historically, assuming Social Constructionism and
Discursive Practices and Production of Meanings as a theoretical-methodological
foundation. The Conversation Circles are the methodological tools, which are based on
the dialogue inspired by the Bakhtinian tradition. They are spaces for the free circulation
of words, sharing of experiences, negotiations and collective production of meanings.
Three conversation circles were held, with residents of the Multiprofessional Residency in
Health for Adults and Elderly Persons, at the Federal University of Alagoas. It was
identified that the practices of multiprofessional visits are complex, dynamic, still under
construction, permeated by different affects, sensations, contradictions, conceptions,
