SUMMARY:
Griô Quilombola: the stories of mothers orphaned by living daughters, the subject of this research, will be told from the point of view of Griô Quilombola and Psychologist Jeanyce, following the principles of narrating the story of Mãe África, the first of all mothers to becoming an orphan of living daughters and sons, trafficked and enslaved in Brazil. Mãe África and her teachings will be present at the beginning, middle and continuity of the research, which does not end with the completion of the Master's degree. My objectives are to teach difficult lessons in an easy way, to go beyond academic walls, to theorize and write in an accessible language, to point out, to denounce, based on the stories experienced and heard, the impacts on the lives of mothers orphans of living daughters, caused by slavery, forced separation, coloniality, racism, sexism, neoliberalism, capitalism. Present Quilombola strategies, knowledge and practices, use theoretical contributions produced by Decolonial Feminism, Psychology and Black Literature, as tools for the destruction of a slave system, and effective in guaranteeing mental health, better living conditions and freedom for the black and indigenous population, especially orphaned mothers of living daughters.
