FROM THE HEMODIALYSIS ROOM TO THE CLASSROOM: WHAT OVERFLOWS
chronic kidney disease, clinical psychology, methododialize
This research starts from my experiences with people with chronic kidney disease, in the field
of hospital psychology, clinical psychology and the overflows in teaching in a Psychology
course. The text is built with stories rescued from memory, told by experts, that is, those who
live their relationships with CKD, constituting material for reflection and a way of producing
knowledge: methododialize. The methodological path allowed us to “break” into parts and the
theories helped us to filter and reframe the stories. For it to work as a methodology, it is
important that methododialize is continuous and happens as a way of filtering theories and their
application to transform them, thus inspiring good practices in psychology.
