This work starts from bossa nova as a gesture of aesthetic purification and desamantization of the song to investigate the impasse between language and reality. Bossa nova, by emphasizing the sonority of the song and its effects – freeing itself from the pretense of displaying a meaning in itself – serves as a starting point for research and as an investigative method.
