SUMMARY:

The collages presented in this research propose disability as a cocreative power for the manufacture of ethnographic image. To this end, it examines the practice of digital photocollage as an experience of the meeting with Olga Aureliano, Vanessa Malta, Aline Regina, Helen Costa and Edvânia - alagoanas with disabilities living in Maceió/ AL, and whose processes were lived from very particular dynamic displacements. The analysis considers special attention: 1) the time dedicated to the visual instance of collage; 2) to the excesses of digital editing as a way to "open" the image of the field and 3) to the existing complicity in an ethnographic campaign engaged and feminist disability, lived forward, in a dialogical and inventive relationship that evokes a meeting of the authorial artistic place, with production that visualizes the endogenous – the defiça partners – but do not cease to exist as an exogenous creation – of the artist anthropologist partner, lesbian and temporarily non-defiça. Around still thinking about the images, without losing sight of the thoughts that they articulate themselves, the research brings citations in self-portraits and imagery references of disability activist artists, as well as, the analytical inspirations on classical portraits of Rosemarie Garland-Thomson, the studies of recent decades on the relationship of image as an ethnographic experience and the set of texts that articulate the theoretical reflection of research with and by people with disabilities in Brazilian anthropology.
