SUMMARY:

The present work is an analysis of youth experiences in the city of Maceió, having as a
source of research audiovisual productions shown at the Mostra Sururu de Cinema
Alagoano in the 2011-2021 decade. The films analyzed here bring in their narratives
experiences in the city of Maceió in the foreground, and present characters who identify
themselves as young people. The cinematographic productions will be analyzed here in a
self-ethnographic reflection within my process of getting to know Maceió through the
audiovisual, understanding my vision of a Maceió seen from a young woman from the
outskirts of Benedito Bentes. The analysis was made in the light of a bibliography that
deals with the multiplicity of youth experiences and the understanding of the city made
in an active construction by the city being.
