SUMMARY:

The adoption of public policies aimed at Operations Management has great relevance when it comes to the Tourism Chain, a chain that contributes substantially to the economy of Maceió, involving the public and private sector. In light of this, the present work seeks to analyze the Management of the Sustainable Tourism Chain in Maceió, regarding its sustainable policies and practices in the chain. The methodology used for the research will be the mapping of the tourism chain, through a bibliographic-documentary survey and interviews with the main actors responsible for the operationalization of the tourism chain, in order to identify the sustainable practices and public policies adopted by the sector. The collected information will be examined, using the content analysis technique.
