PURCHASING PROCESSES FOR PERMANENT MATERIAL AT THE CAMPUS DO SERTÃO OF THE FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF ALAGOAS: A STRUCTURING PROPOSAL

The constant search for efficiency and economy in public purchases makes organizations increasingly seek to improve their demands so that there is an appropriate application of public resources and speed in their processes. In view of this, the present study has the objective of structuring the management of permanent material purchases at the Campus do Sertão, of the Universidade Federal de Alagoas — UFAL, since flaws in the planning and management of the purchasing sector of this academic unit have been identified. Considering the investigation approach, the research is classified as bibliographical, documental and case study. It is an applied research with exploratory and descriptive purposes. The data will be collected through interviews and questionnaires with employees of public Higher Education Institutions in Alagoas, in order to understand and describe their perceptions, difficulties and suggestions about the permanent material purchasing processes in their organizations. After collecting and systematizing the data, they will be analyzed using a qualitative approach. As a result, it is expected to present solutions and improvements in internal procedures that contribute to more efficient procurement and meet the expectations of the institution.
