PLEASURE AND SUFFERING AT WORK: A STUDY WITH GENERATIONS OF ARTISANS IN ALAGOAS

This study aims to investigate how different generations of artisans perceive the experiences of pleasure and suffering in artisanal activity, portray the context of artisanal work, describe the experiences of pleasure and suffering in artisanal work, present the defense strategies of artisans in response to a possible suffering at work and propose, based on the results achieved, a technical technological product. As for the methodology, this research is classified as qualitative, descriptive and it is a field research. Potential participants will be artisans from the Handicraft Market in the Levada neighborhood, in the city of Maceió, state of Alagoas, selected by the criterion of typicality, as they are highly representative for the context of the research. This research is part of a project already approved by the UFAL Research Ethics Committee, and the data for the study will be collected through semi-structured and anonymous interviews, which will be recorded and transcribed. For data analysis, the content analysis technique will be applied, commonly used in qualitative studies and widely used in the humanities and in Administration studies.
